Remember when I mentioned a couple months ago that I would be starting a monthly series, an Ode to Carry Bradshaw titled, ‘I Can’t Help But Wonder?’ I was supposed to reveal something that I’ve learned along the way?

This Memorial Day weekend was special to me for a different reason. Sunday marked the anniversary of my post-grad life beginning. It was the day after my graduation party. My parents, my BFF and I packed up 2 cars and moved me into my dorm at NYU where I would be saying during my internship with Clear Channel Radio. Exactly one year ago.

There are so many things, given the opportunity that I would do over. So many. But like my girl Carrie, I can’t help but wonder if maybe mistakes are what make our fate. It’s only normal to be hit with the shoulda, coulda, wouldas every now and again, but I am a firm believer that time heals all wounds. No seriously, I know people say that but it’s oh, so true. So there is absolutely no reason to have a pity party and lick your wounds.
