I had a slow moment writing this post. I literally, was sitting around like, ‘Do I have a talent?’ My friend, listening to me think out loud, was like, of course you do.

Writing. Duh.

It’s kind of weird that I didn’t consider being a writer a talent. It’s something that I have always been told that I was good at. But I work really hard at it so I didn’t think that it counted as talent.

I am blessed to have a platform not write as freely and as opinionated as I like. I recently read a story about a blogger who was arrested in Bahrani because of he was supposedly affecting National Security. All the man wanted to do was write about something that he was passionate about.

Obviously, this blog and my freelance writing may not be what you call hard-hitting journalism but they make me happy to have the platform to showcase my talent.
