Tulle Skirt: J.Crew Crewcuts
Tights: Spanx
Boots: Dolce Vita for Target
Belt: J.Crew
Ring: Forever 21
Necklace: Random store in downtown State College, Pa

When I originally bought these boots, I really liked that they weren’t as masculine as combat boots. They have a sleeker, almost dainty shape that made me think they would be perfect paired with skirts and dresses.

I clearly have gotten over the hump of how to wear these boots because I wore them twice in one day. The second time was to my cousin’s Sweet 16. But wait—I broke out of my comfort zone all the way with this outfit. I wore combat boots with a tutu.

And I loved it. I only wish the lighting was better so you can see the boots with the tights better.

This outfit was so fun and whimsical and perfect for a birthday party. Well, I thought so at least. Upon seeing my outfit, my brother gestured up and down, and was like ‘what is this?’ The answer, it was my outfit, was ignored. All he wanted to know was why would I do this. Smh.

Do you have a crazy pairing that makes you happy to wear? Because this is mine. I can’t wait to wear this skirt again.
