Today, MAC announced that rapper Nicki Minaj, along with singer Ricky Martin will be the new faces representing the 2012 Viva Glam campaign.

According to a MAC’s spokesperson, “The two are on a set in Miami today shooting the campaign visuals with David La Chappelle.  Nicki and Ricky join a cadre of A-list talent representing the fund over the years including current spokesperson Lady Gaga. To date the fund has raised $224 Million USD exclusively through the sale of its VIVA GLAM lip products donating 100 percent of the sale price to fight HIV/AIDS.”

This should be good, we know what kind of frenzy Nicki sends her barbies into. I can’t lie, I’m not crazy about the Pink Friday lipstick, so I am excited to see what the collaboration looks like.

Um, Ricky Martin is random. But all ages, genders and races, right MAC?
