31 Oct 7 Things To Buy During Sephora’s Friends & Family Sale
Due to my technical difficulties, I am posting this sort of late. I had hoped to get this up last week, but the good news is the Sephora’s Friends & Family sale is going on until November 2nd.
#ThingsThatLastedLongerThanKimKardashiansWedding
Sephora is handling the sale different this year. You have to go HERE, enter your email and receive a unique code just for you to get 20% off of your entire purchase online only.
But the code is only good for one time, so choose wisely. In my opinion, the sale is not the time to buy a $12 eyeshadow, unless of course, that’s all you want and you’ve stalked it since forever.
The sale is a good time to invest in pricier things that you normally wouldn’t even considering indulging in.
Keep reading, I have a few suggestions.
1. A Clarisonic
I haven’t introduced you to my lovely Clarisonic, Riso yet but this facial cleansing brush has changed my life. I even feel dirty just using my hands to wash my face. It helps products adsorb into your skin better after cleaning, it takes off all the dirt and grim like no one’s business, and if you get the Plus like I have, there is a brush head for your body. The Clarisonic Mia is cheaper and comes in all sorts of fun prints/colors.
2. Perfume
I have had my eye on a certain scent Thierry Mugler scent for literally a year, but’s so expensive. If you’re anything like me in that aspect, spurge with the 20% and perhaps it won’t hurt as bad. Try a perfume, something rediculously expensive.
3. Mascara
My BFF and I have this weird thing we do when we buy each other expensive cosmetic items that we probably don’t even buy for ourselves on a regular basis whenever we give a gift. Christian Dior mascara used to be one those things. Be your own BFF and buy one for yourself. What expensive mascara have you always wanted to try?
4. Invest in Makeup Brushes
It really doesn’t matter how expensive or nice your makeup is if you don’t have the proper tools to apply it properly. What products do you use on a daily basis? Make sure you have brushes that help the product look its best.
5. Hair Tools
Like a Clarisonic and makeup brushes, the tools you use on your hair are another investment worth the money. If there is a hair tool you’ve had your eye on, now is a great time to revisit it. Perhaps even give dry shampoo a try?
6. Something YSL
I love, love, love Yves Saint Laurent’s sleek and rich looking packaging. I often go fondle the products in Sephora but have yet to make a purchase. Though the Touche Eclat is calling to me. Or, you could just get the shade of lipstick that Kourtney Kardashian wears.
7. Nails Inc. Metallic Nail Polish
Have you seen Nails Inc.’s metallic polish? It’s so cool looking, my fellow Glamazon Kamille showed it off on her blog, Roxy In The City. At first I was a little weary of the product, because for the price it seemed a little gimmicky but I am a believer!
So hopefully I have provided a few suggestions about what to get during Sephora’s Friends & Family sale. Remember that you get your code HERE and the sale ends Wednesday, November 2nd.
Will you pick something up for yourself? Start your Christmas shopping?
