This post is dedicated to my new friend Khadijah, who I met while killing time in Penn Station in the city.

She complimented me on my olive green ASOS hooded military cape and said that she wasn’t sure she could pull one off. She thought it would look like she was wearing a blanket.

Nonsense, Khadijah. Nonsense.

We can use Olivia Palermo, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian’s looks for inspiration. If you are afraid that you will look like you are drowning in material look for a cape that is belted (belted also works for those who are curvy or have a big chest).

Oh, and my fellow tiny girls, we can rock them too!
