7 of My Favorite Blog Moments in 2011

Quick sad story, in September, I accidentally deleted my entire iPhoto library trying to make space on my computer.

All of my college pictures, my earliest blog pictures, that vacation with that boy, everything, gone.

And though I wanted to cry, a lot of my memories from the past two years (just about) have been documented in some way here, on this blog.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share bits and pieces of my life with friends  (new and old) and family all over the world. Today, I just want to take a minute to share seven of my favorite moments on this blog that weren’t necessarily fashion/beauty related.

• On my 24th birthday, I wrote 100 words to live by to myself.
• I went to New York Fashion Week for the first time in February and it wasahmazing.
• My blog turned one and I couldn’t help but think about how great that year was.
• I survived a tornado but my car didn’t 🙁
• Essence.com named me a ‘Fab Fashion Blogger,’ wooohoo! Hello Beautiful named me in their round-up of 30 Under 30 women to watch. Oh, and Ibecame a Glamazon!
• I made my blog’s header myself! Well, kind-of.
• I celebrated my parents’ anniversary and thanked them for showing me how to love.

This year was nothing that I expected but so, so good. I have a feeling that 2012 will be even better. Can you feel it?
