Finding a good skincare routing could be a bit of a challenge, you pretty much have to sacrifice your skin and get yourself ready for disaster and good.

It could take months or even years to find products that work well with your skin; patience is key in this situation.

Here are some products that I recommend if you are new to skincare or getting ready to start a skincare regimen.

A Serum Is Your Best Friend

A serum is an intensive and more concentrated moisturizer, while it may not look like a moisturizer physically, it does have the added benefit of repairing, preventing and renewing the skin.

There are several kinds of serums, depending on your age group or skin concern, it’s important to pick the right one.
I use an anti aging serum to delay the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Mask Away

Just like serums, masks are of different kinds. They can add an instant boost to your skin appearance and help your skin look better overtime in different ways. There are exfoliating masks, brightening masks, fruit extract masks, clay masks etc. Clay masks work great for me in the summer for my combination/oily skin, it helps deep clean my pores, prevent blackheads, control oil and tighten my pores. You may need several masks for different occasions or seasons, Origins makes my favorite masks and they offer free facials and recommendations.

Fun in the sun is great but better if you have on some kind of sunscreen. The harmful rays of the sun can cause age spots, lines and wrinkles even skin cancer. The higher the amount of SPF the better, SPF 15 or higher is always recommended. Again, find on that works for your skin type, I prefer a lightweight oil free sunscreen.
