27 Aug VIDEO: 7 Things I Brought Back From Paris + More Pics!
Feel like seeing some pictures?
I have decided that if I ever get married, I want to do it in a cathedral. Something like Notre Dame, perhaps? Nope, I’m not Catholic but I love the buildings and how every single thing has a story behind it. Just look at the entry way…
The Lourve was gorgeous but my mom–and I agree with her–wishes the glass pyramid wasn’t blocking the view from the rest of the castle. But, it is interesting looking.
Eating in Paris was such a treat! I could live off of pain au chocolate (a crossiant with a bit of chocolate in the middle), crepes and cafe creme 🙂 You guys know that I love to eat olives, so that fact that they were offered with wine is everything to me.
Galleries Lafayette was so much fun. I looooved the beauty floor. This is the place I mentioned with the Tiffany’s counter and the Sinful nail polish display in the video. You know what else is funny, speaking of Sinful nail polishes, there was a line for the Abercrombie & Fitch store. It was in some majestic looking building and we could smell that cologne from the street, just like here in the US.
But yall. Can I tell you that I met my husband? He’s French, works for Louis Vuitton and loves to serve my mom and friends champagne. What more could a girl ask for? To commemorate our time together, I have tied a ribbon from the new Yayaoi Kusama collection around my speedy, LOL.
Apparently, Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn liked to hang out at Angelina and have hot chocolate. So that’s exactly what we did. Well, me and Arianna had hot chocolate, everyone else said it was too hot for that. And it was, I was miserable afterward but I’m glad I had it.
I loved finding books that I had read as a child in Paris, like Eloise and Madeline. The newsstands were cool and Shakespeare and Company was every book lover’s dream. It even smelled like old books in the store 🙂
Oh, and guys! Guess who came to say hey when we went to the Lourve? Christy of Clean-Cut-Gout-Chic! She has the cutest accent and I loved her outfit. She was on ‘holiday’ with her husband for a wedding and was kind enough to offer to meet up. Get into her outfit though:
Whew, lawwwd! I feel like I’ve had you here forever! I’m going to get my butt back on a schedule this week. I appreciate you stopping by even with the inconsistent posting.
How’s your Monday so far?

Among me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 gamers over time than I can count, which includes Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few ages I’ve settled down to one line of players.
