Wednesday was literally the longest day of my life. I came into The City super early for the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference. But more in that in a post coming soon.

The conference lasted all day, I had a slight detour and a swipe of lipstick before I headed to Glam’s dinner kicking off New York Fashion Week. I died when I saw the place above.

A French restaurant! And it opens up into the street. You know I loved that. Guess who I met walking in? Eboni! From The Fashionista Next Door!

And it’s always good to see Glamazon Jessica of Glamazons Blog (see us on our Glamazons ish below). Plus, it’s always fun to meet new bloggers likeNoelani Zervas of mpchouchou.com who were seated at my table.

Oh, and you know who else was seated at my table? Patrice of Afrobella! She was so sweet 🙂

I was in good company, the restaurant was gorgeous, it was such a good night.

I must say though, one of the highlights of the night was being introduced to the president of Glam Media by Nola Weinstein who told him how much fun my mom and I had at the Cotton photoshoot–and he asked if my mother is as pretty as I am.

I was a good daughter and said she was prettier, LOL.

The night came to a close with a bag for of goodies. Who could be mad at that?!

Speaking of bags, how do you like my new baby? I won her at luncheon (at another French restie) that Glam had for a few publishers hopefully taking part in a new initiative.

She’s the creation of Khirma Eliazov. A former editor at Teen Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar turned designer.

Please excuse the crappy cellphone picture but best believe that you will be seeing her soon.
