25 Sep I was in a Mood.
You ever get on your own nerves? Like, you legitimately want to side-eye yourself?
That’s been me lately. I just thought I was in a mood. I’m moody sometimes, it happens (especially during that time of the month, TMI–sorry). But I was even struggling to find things to stay here.
And that’s never been the case. This is my baby, yall are my friends. I can’t remember the last time I was this committed to something.
But yesterday morning it hit me.
I resent myself.
There are things I’ve wanted that I haven’t gone after. Things that I know no longer serve me but continue to do them. I was mad at myself for it.
I wasn’t even writing in my journal. No gratitude list, either. I don’t even know when this happened. Just one day it was.
I’m not saying that I’m burnt out. I’m not sure what I’m saying. But somehow talking (or typing it) makes me accountable for it. I have to do something about this now.
I have a vision (I even shared it with you). The funny thing is, just realizing that it was time for me to let certain things go, brought way better things into my life. Just that quickly.
But I’m fine. Really. I wrote out a list of things to get me inspired again, it really helped. I’m thinking of making it a ‘7 Things’ video. What do you think?
I realize that these pictures have nothing to do with the post. But in a way they do. I’m always (well, usually) smiling or talking (most definitely) but always thinking.

p.s. Looking at this post, I look like I’m expecting. False. I didn’t want to wear a belt to keep the shirt down because it made the dress look a little shorter than I thought was apropro for the dentist.
