Yall. About Scandal last night?? Can you even?? Because I am not yet able to. It’s nearly 2 o’clock in the morning and I’m still thinking about that show. And Kerry Washington’s cheekbones. That lip quiver, too.

Now, about the outfit.

Have you ever a day where you just feel like blaaaaah? I believe Holly Golightly referred to days like this as, ‘having a case of the mean reds.’ That’s me. Right now, today.

But sequins make it better. Sequins make anything better, though.

I really like this sequin top I’m wearing. It’s from the #GlamSavvyShopper shoot. It has really fun dolman sleeves. I thought it would be fun to layer it over a American Rag Denim Ombre shirt. I pulled it off one shoulder to show a little somethin,’ somethin’.

Not too much, though! Never give ’em too much. I don’t want to look like I’m out here trying to get chose :-p

I have a secret to tell you. Those leggings are a huge surprise for me. I’ve been looking for a pair of either faux leather leggings or a pair with faux leather panels on them for some time now. So when I spotted this Jessica Simpson pair with the faux leather tuxedo stripe on the side on Macy’s.com, I added them to the cart immediately.

I had no idea that Jessica Simpson made such nice things. I’m so ready to revisit her entire line because I’m already planning to wear these leggings with every-dang-thing.

Oh yeah, that green clutch? That’s a Coach iPad case. Don’t you like the new direction that Coach is moving into? I do! I used to be obsessed with Coach in middle and high school. I’m so glad they’re getting back to the basics with the leather pieces.
