I’d been meaning to write something and then before I knew it, five weeks had passed without a post on the blog.

I went to Thailand at the end of November (pictures coming soon!). I’m finally getting into a groove at work. I got kicked out of the Marc Jacobs sample sale — but that’s another story for a different day.

I’ve found myself doing something new when I get dressed. I’m embracing silhouettes I’d typically shy away from, wearing sneakers, nail art, or in this case, culottes.

I was unsure about this pair of Old Navy culottes. I envision myself wearing a pair of sneakers with them to run errands but I’m not there yet, so … I’m going to stick with what I know best: heels.

I think the last time I reached for a pair of culottes, I was in middle school (this time I did so with my new Valley nails), but I think I like this trend.
