Last night, I was invited to the chic TriBeCa Grand Hotel for The Road To U.N.I.T.Y Premiere. The premiere allowed us to get an inside look at the girls who were handpicked by Queen Latifah to recreate her Grammy winning song, U.N.I.T.Y. Those girls, women actually, were so talented! The Road to U.N.I.T.Y  will be broken down into 10 webisodes that will air on CoverGirl’sFacebook page.

After the watching the documentary, I was color matched with a lipstick from the Queen Collection that will be launched in January. Recently, I have been trying to have a little more fun with color on my lips.

I chose to try out Berry Bling. The makeup artist assured me that this color would be perfect for me.

 

She told me the trick to wearing a bright lip color is to apply bronzer to your cheeks so the lip color isn’t left all alone to brighten up your face. Can you believe in less than two weeks I have worn blush and bronzer?! I can’t.

I was pleased with the end result. That ish did not come off either! The lipstick was applied around 9 or so and at 1 it had dried down to a stain that was still going strong even after I washed my face!

Oh, and p.s makeup artist Sam Fine complimented me on my pucker.
