On Saturday, my mother and I got up at the crack of dawn to venture to King of Prussia for the Nordstorm Beauty Trend Show. I decided this was a good chance for me to take on a trend of another sort.

A jumpsuit.

Woot woot for short girls in jumpsuits! It was really comfortable, too! Which was a good thing considering that my day started at 5am!

J.Crew Boyfriend Sweater
Gap Scarf
Old Navy Sandals
Target Belt

This picture looks weird because my photographer (cough, Mom, cough) wouldn’t stop laughing.

 

I even did my makeup! As crazy as I am about makeup and I much as I write about it, I typically don’t wear it.I did for this though, even though my mother and I had appointments to be made over at Chanel (more on that later).

 

You ladies really should look into if your Nordstorm hosts a Beauty Trend Show. It’s a really good chance to get a look at some of the newest and most innovative products in beauty. They are hosted twice a year– once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

I’m so inspired for beauty posts for The Blay Report :)Oh, and speaking of jumpsuits, Tyra shot this video for her fashion/beauty site Type F, with Andre Leon Talley. It’s hiliarious!
