02 Apr Editor’s Note: April Showers Bring Big Changes
I swear every big event in my life is marked by rain. Let’s recount those times, shall we?
It rained the night of my senior Prom.
It rained the day I moved into my freshman dorm.
It rained the night I met my best friends my freshman year of college.
And the day that I graduated from college–started as we stood outside (ugh).
Now that might just be crazy State College, PA weather for the most part. But there is something to that, if only in my mind. Rain showers mark big change.
So consider this month’s cliched April Showers to mean that big things are happening this month on Channing in The City. I’m introducing a few different things that I’ve wanted to do for quite some time but lacked the follow-through to do so.
Not anymore, and starting with an Editor’s Note each month, I kind-of started it here, but then fell off. But they are back (and the first of many changes) setting the theme for the month here on the blog.
I thank you for letting me grow and try new things here and coming back with I figure everything out here. It’s been quite an interesting journey, thank you for sticking with me 🙂
