If you were to peek in my bag right now, I would be embarrassed.

There’s a lipgloss I’ve been meaning to send as a thank-you, a necklace I broke as a reminder to fix it with Gorilla Glue, a necklace I broke that needs to be sent away, my phone charger, Revenge Wears Prada minus the jacket sleeve, a cosmetic bag that weighs as much as I do, a million Starbucks napkins I’ve been using as blot sheets, my notebook, wallet, business card holder, receipts I’ll never be able to find when it’s time to do expenses, my favorite 6 lipglosses floating around for quick train touch ups and my as of late very much needed umbrella.

You know what wasn’t in there? The service form that I needed to pick up my charm bracelet from Tiffany’s. Or my flats, I forgot to put the nude pair in my bag and was going to be late if I went back to get them, so I was like I’ll be okay.

Because I didn’t have my service form, and the man who handled it when I dropped it off was too busy yapping about how he used to work in fashion at Tommy Hilfiger and the designer even let him create a few shirts, he missed spelled my name and now that I was there and finally (after two weeks but they close at 7 and well… ) ready to pick it up, they couldn’t find it. Had I had my service form all of that could have been avoided.

I dumped all of the contents of my purse on the counter, like, great now this woman just how much of a mess I really am. Still no service form. I text my friends while I wait to keep calm. I don’t want to act up in this store (that’s my side-eye above). I was there when the store closed and had to be escorted out of side (spy) entrance but they found my bracelet!

And I went home to clean out my bag. What are you lugging around in yours?

    LOL @ this sideeye….I def have everything bar related in JP…Kaplan books, chargers, carmex, highlighters, pens, and of course snacks! My shoulder is sore daily from lugging this thing around.

    Don’t be embarrassed almost all woman have this happen to them, iI know I have. Girl I have everything in my bag from hand sanitizer to a extra t sshirt cuz Isaiah is always making a mess of himself..lol My bag is somewhat of a messenger style tote, that’s my home on the go!! It gets worse when u have kids…trust me!! 🙂

      I can only imagine how it would be to have kids and the amount of stuff that I could need to carry! But I tell myself the heavier the bag, the more it counts as a workout, like you’re building muscles carrying it. HA!

    love this hair & dress chan!!! …in my purse right now :: 2 hand sanitizers, a random change purse (trying to dump it all at the metro), 3 lipgloss…all pinks, a magazine, earrings, an empty lotion bottle (dont ask), a bottle of polish remover, shellac base and matte top coat, and a cell phone charger! LOL wheeeew

      Thanks, Jas! LOL @ at the empty lotion bottle. I’ve done that to remind me to get more or of a specific type that I liked. You would have nail polish remover, you’re such a nail girl 🙂

    Too funny (and familiar) I carry the world in my bag! 2 pairs of glasses, umbrella, charger, pens, medication, and about 80 lipglosses and lipsticks.  However, I seem to only wear one. Smh. #GirlProblems

      That’s the thing, I carry all these lipsticks and I swear I wear the same lip balm. OR I get in moods and wear the same color for like, 6 days straight. Glad to see I’m not the only one.

    Your hair and dress are so cute! And it’s ok, our personalities lie inside of our purses. Currently in mine is my wallet, two lipglosses, tinted lipbalm, The Beautiful and Damned by Fitzgerald, New York Magazine, pink and green headphones and J. Cole’s Born Sinner CD. Oh yea, and the bottom is layered in receipts I also will probably never expense!
