It’s time to have a chat with Mother Nature.

I have been trying to get to the beach for a while now to no avail. What gives Mother Nature? Why don’t you want me to let my hair down–literally–and have some fun in the sun and sand? I have the perfect towel to lay on and read. I’ve been so excited to break it out, it’s a blow-up of a New Yorker cover with a woman drinking a glass of something that makes her happy but doesn’t smear her red lipstick.

Clearly, it’s perfectly fitting. And I would look amazing on it wearing my Kate Spade Lip Sunnies.

I’ve been itching to wear this cute little yellow number with the exposed zipper and racer back. Can you just imagine me peeking over a Vogue with a stack of glossies: the New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Forbes beside me?

Mother Nature? Why won’t you let me or my cute dress be great??

Cue even more dramatics… The sun will come out… tomooooorrrroooow….

No, but seriously, all this rain? It needs to stop.
