Has Anyone Ever Said Your Hair Stunk?

Well, she’s claiming that she has an allergy to the eight year old’s hair product, Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion. Apparently the little girl was taken from her accelerated learning class and placed in a different class without her parents notice.When they found out however, they filed a complaint. Allure’s Beauty Reporter blog said that a school spokesperson didn’t believe that race was a factor even though the incident was not appropriate.

I just feel horrible for that little girl. How do you explain to her that she is perfectly fine and beautiful just the way that she is when she is being singled out for something like her hair? It seems that she was the only child of color in the class, which not only tells her that there is problem with her uniqueness but her classmates as well.

For the record, I have smelled the product and it doesn’t smell offensive or “ethnic.” Not sure what ethic smell I am referring too? Grab a jar of Blue Magic if they still make that. Now, I would find that smell offensive. [Allure Beauty Reporter]
